The objective was to invent an elevating hinge for dumping a pick-up body, with tailgate extended, over the rear bumper.
This hinge would not require removal of the bumper, hitch or spare tire to operate, while easing installation.
All current systems require mounting the bumper to the hinge arms with welding or bolting, and removal or modifications to the hitch.
An elevating hinge requires a longer hoist to operate, a revolutionary 180 degree sweep scissor design is provided.

What you can't see is the "Over the Bumper Dumper" retains the factory frame to bumper crash protection. It may even increase the crash protection due to the torsion bar and long hinge arms located outside the frame rails. The bed is attached to the hinge in four places rather than two, double the strength and resistance to twisting. The hydraulic system includes an owner adjustable flow control valve to regulate the speed of the downstroke. This extra level of control is important when the bed is loaded with weight, otherwise it would slam down onto the frame. All fasteners are Stainless Steel or Cad plated Grade 8 corrosion resistant. We are continuously improving the design and adding more features.
